Clint Leavitt - Lead pastor

 

Clint is a born and raised Phoenician. He graduated from Grand Canyon University with a BA in English and earned his Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, focusing much of his degree on the interplay between theology and culture. He is passionate about the power of stories and how they connect to human spirituality, and thus is a film and literature fanatic. He also loves playing, watching, and creating all types of sports, remaining regularly active as much as possible. He and his wife, Emily, have been attending The Spring since Summer 2018; they love to travel, and are always fans of new restaurants, activities, drinks, and adventures. Clint and Emily live in North Central Phoenix.

Vanessa MOrin - Kids Ministry Coordinator

Vanessa Morin is a senior undergraduate student at Grand Canyon University, earning a degree in Christian Studies with an Emphasis in Youth Ministry. She is passionate about discipling and educating kids, ensuring they learn essential truths about the love of Jesus and what it means to love God and neighbor in their lives.

adam mcanally - elder

Adam McAnally is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church, and he served on the Spring Board in Tempe from 2014-2016.He currently works for Salt River Project in their Regulatory Policy department. He received his BA from the University of Arizona in Political Science and his Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University with an emphasis in Finance. He also currently serves on the boards of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce and the Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations. Adam, his wife Elena, and their daughters Isabella and Eva live in midtown Phoenix.

Paige Vender - elder

 

Paige is a home grown Arizonan. She is from Tucson, AZ, and earned her BA from the University of Arizona (Go Wildcats!). Conveniently enough, Paige is also fond of cats herself! She retains a huge heart for Tucson today, and her family still resides there. She has lived in Phoenix for three years, currently working at USAA as an Insurance Agent. She loves to cook, be outside, hike, and live in community with others! She also works with YoungLife in the greater Phoenix area.

David Ytreeide - Elder

 

David Ytreeide was raised as the youngest of four boys in Seattle, Washington. He first moved to Phoenix in 2012 to attend Grand Canyon University where he received his BA in Marketing and Masters in Analytics in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Residing now in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa with his wife Lauren, David works as an analyst for American Express. David and Lauren are passionate for the Lord and his Church and are eager to share his good news. In their free time, David and Lauren love hosting events and exploring the outdoors with their Golden Retriever, Kessler.

Andrew Meeks - Elder

Andrew Meeks was born in Roswell, New Mexico until he moved to the Valley in 2014 in order to attend Grand Canyon University. After graduating from GCU in 2018, he became a Student Services Counselor for the school and became office mates with none other than Pastor Clint. Through this relationship, Andrew became connected to The Spring Midtown and fell in love with the tight-knit community, the church’s passion for serving others, and the evident mission to be more like Jesus in every way. Andrew also married the love of his life, the amazing Brittany Meeks, in March 2021 and currently leads a community group with her on Thursday nights. Andrew is passionate about the local church and is excited for what God is doing in Midtown Phoenix and beyond!

Luke Parker - Founding pastor

 

Luke is a Phoenix native. He has been in ministry in a variety of contexts for upwards of 15 years, and he began The Spring Midtown in March of 2017 in his family's living room. He has a lovely wife, Jessica, and two boys.  Luke recently left our church to become the National Director of Church Planting with the denomination we are a part of, ECO Presbyterian. While we miss Luke and the Parker family, we are excited for a new season in their life and for the life of our church.
